SMF Recent Topics

This module works without any Elxis-SMF bridge. It is tested with the current latest SMF version (1.1.4) but it should work with all previous SMF versions. It is an updated version for Elxis 2008. You can have SMF in any database even you can have Elxis in a different than SMF database type! The only setting required, in order the module to connect to SMF, is to set the proper SMF relative path. The module uses the latestnews CSS class to display the latest posts in an unordered list (see elxis default module latest news).

The module SMF Recent Topics is translated in 10 languages, has multi-lingual XML parameters and is XHTML valid. Besides other in module parameters you can set the number of topics to display, if the topic's board will be displayed, if the author will be displayed, if the number of replies will be displayed, you can exclude boards, enable cache or not, etc.
